I recorded a year’s worth of Jon Brion’s earliest residencies and the first appearances by Tenacious D. Workshops of early material and intimate performances by Grant Lee Buffalo, Eels, Aimee Mann, Glenn Tilbrook, and countless others. Stand-up performances by Margaret Cho, Janeane Garofolo, and Sarah Silverman. Michael Stipe and Helena Christensen singing karaoke. And my personal favorite: Andy Prieboy.
